SAAH – South African Academy of Health is an innovative company that was founded to answer the needs for professionally recognised training aimed specifically at healthcare institutions such as hospitals, step down facilities, frail care centres, clinics, hospices & old age homes.
In 2010 SAAH opened its doors in Durban offering training for Professional Health Care Assistants. Many students have qualified since then and are now working in hospitals around the country. Others, are now training as Professional nurses.
The training material has been developed by a team of dedicated and committed professional nurses and university academics.
All lectures are presented by a team of fully trained, highly skilled professionals in the various fields of expertise.
After completion of the course, you will receive a Professional Health Care Assistant Certificate.

SAAH DURBAN is a Franchise and Private Company run by Naheeda Shaik and her wonderful team; Candice De Jager – Operations Manager, Arisha Davalall – Lecturer and Silindile Ndlovu – Administrator. Their Main head office is situated in the beautiful city of Cape Town which assists with Quality Control, Development of Courses and Material as well as Managing the training Programmes.
SAAH plays a vital role in uplifting and developing communities and rural areas in Kwa Zulu Natal and is committed to promote quality training programmes and establishing and maintaining partnerships in the Health Care Market.
